1. Introduction
A.R. Bhatt Educational Institute is committed to continuous improvement in the quality of its educational programs, administration, and student services. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established to serve as a central mechanism for promoting a culture of quality, transparency, and accountability across all colleges and departments functioning under the Institute.

Mission:
- To build a culture of continuous quality enhancement in academics, administration, and community engagement.
- To strengthen internal systems that support effective planning, execution, and evaluation.
- To involve all stakeholders in the process of institutional development and innovation.
3. Composition of IQAC
The IQAC shall consist of representatives from various sections of the institution to ensure inclusivity and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Composition:
- Principal – Chairperson
- Senior Faculty Members from Different Faculties
- Administrative Officer / Non-Teaching Representative
- Management Representative (Director / Trustee)
- Alumni Representative
- Student Representative
- Community / Industry / NGO Nominee
- IQAC Coordinator – Member Secretary
The tenure of the members shall be three years. Additional members may be co-opted as required.
4. Objectives & Functions
The primary objectives and functions of the IQAC are to:
- Define and implement internal quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
- Develop and maintain a quality assurance framework within the institution.
- Monitor and evaluate institutional performance through regular reviews and audits.
- Promote research, innovation, and professional development among faculty and staff.
- Facilitate collection and analysis of feedback from students, parents, alumni, and stakeholders.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and orientation programs to promote quality awareness.
- Document and disseminate best practices within the institution.
- Prepare and submit the Yearly Internal Quality Report (YIQR) to the Principal and Management.
5. Meetings of the IQAC
The IQAC shall meet periodically or as required to plan, review, and monitor quality-related initiatives. The Coordinator shall maintain the agenda, minutes, and action-taken reports of all meetings, to be reviewed by the Chairperson.
6. Responsibilities of Members
- The Chairperson shall provide leadership and ensure effective implementation of IQAC decisions.
- Members shall actively participate in meetings, provide constructive feedback, and lead departmental quality initiatives.
- The Coordinator shall coordinate between departments and maintain documentation of IQAC activities.
7. Reporting and Communication
IQAC shall submit an annual Yearly Internal Quality Report (YIQR) summarizing institutional progress, quality initiatives, and improvement plans. The report shall be shared with the management and made available on the institutional website.
8. Review and Amendment of Policy
This policy shall be reviewed periodically and amended as deemed necessary by the management to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness.
